The boredom!

mood: amused amused
music: Coin Operated Boy

I have nothing to do. I don't start work until Thursday, and thus I have nothing to entertain me. So I took some quizzes from the Rum and Monkey website.

I'm Ludvig II, the Swan King of Bavaria!
Which Historical Lunatic Are You?
From the fecund loins of Rum and Monkey.

Why do I suddenly feel like doing the Nutcracker ballet?

I rather like hot places.

...BWAHAHAHAHA!

I got a job!

At GameStop of all places too! Someone likes me and has made one of my dreams come true. I've always wanted to work at a video game store, just to see what it's like. Not only that but one of the benefits includes a 30% off  all purchases at Barnes and Nobel! Heaven IS a place on Earth.

Only problem is that I have to get through Saturday...SATs are going to succeed where all other tests failed and kill my brain. T_T

But after Monday it will only be a month before the Transformers movie comes out! Hurrah!

That's where it was!...and a Davy Jones half-rant

May. 29th, 2007 | 03:05 pm
location: Home
mood: happy happy
music: He's a Pirate

Cleaned out my locker today, and I found about four assignments that went missing a few days before they were due. What is with lockers and eating assignments?

Anyways, four of the five finals are over with, all that is left now is math, and then I will never have to see that math teacher again! *cue heavenly chorus*

And then I scheduled a tour of Washington University in St. Louis on my birthday! We're heading to St.Louis to see my dad before he has to go back to Iraq and while we're there we're going to tour the colleges. Wash U in St. Louis is on my top three list at this point in time, along with CSU and UT in Austin.

Now I told you all that I went to see POTC3 right? Well I have a problem with that movie, but because some of you may not have seen it yet....

POTC3 SPOILERS: LOOK AWAY NOW!!! SAVE YOUR SANITY!!

Now, my only beef with the movie is that Davy Jones didn't get a happy ending. As a Davy Jones fangirl that is unacceptable. The only character I was rooting for the whole entire movie, the only person who I ever really thought deserved a happy ending, got thrown into the bottom of a whirlpool and betrayed by the woman he loved. Davy Jones got the short end of the stick here. I mean, he got replaced by Will Turner. NOTHING is more insulting than being replaced by Will slaggin Turner. Not only that, but he had to answer to Beckett, kill his Kraken (that scene where they found its carcass depressed me so), and there was nothing he could do to stop any of it. When he cried it was the saddest thing ever for me. DAVY JONES DESERVED BETTER!

I blame Calypso for everything.

And I know there was no way for Davy Jones to have a happy ending, but I still think he deserved one!

I haven't been on that much, though it is more than likely that no one is reading this anyway...Finals are this coming Tuesday through Friday, and on Saturday "doom" is spelled SAT. Plus I'm waiting for the manager of GameStop to call me back and tell me if I have a job. I'm just a little stressed out lately.

But I did get to go see POTC3 on opening night! It was amazing, but they could have definitely have used ALOT more development in some places. Those of you who have seen the movie know what I mean. My biggest peeve with the movie though? DAVY JONES NEEDED A HAPPY ENDING!!!

And got this from Darkfire_blade...It's actually very interesting.

The Everything Test

There are many different types of tests on the internet today. Personality tests, purity tests, stereotype tests, political tests. But now, there is one test to rule them all.

Traditionally, online tests would ask certain questions about your musical tastes or clothing for a stereotype, your experiences for a purity test, or deep questions for a personality test. We're turning that upside down - all the questions affect all the results, and we've got some innovative results too! Enjoy :-)

Personality
You are more emotional than logical, more concerned about self than concerned about others, more atheist than religious, more dependent than loner, more lazy than workaholic, more traditional than rebel, more engineering mind than artistic mind, more cynical than idealist, more follower than leader, and more introverted than extroverted.

As for specific personality traits, you are greedy (67%), intellectual (59%).

Stereotypes
Old Geezer83%
Prep77%
Punk Rock67%

Life Experience
Sex10%
Substances3%
Travel24%

Politics
Your political views would best be described as Liberal, whom you agree with around 43% of the time.
  Socioeconomic
Your attitude toward life best associates you with Middle Class. You make more than 22% of those who have taken this test, and 99% less than the U.S. average.

If your life was a movie, it would be rated G.
By the way, your hottness rank is 62%, hotter than 56% of other test takers.

After Prom

Apr. 22nd, 2007 | 06:24 pm

music: Gankutsuou theme music

I had the best time last night/this morning. It was amazing! The junior committe did an excellent job organizing all the games and prizes. They had human bowling, a velcro wall, food from Qdoba, Cold Stone Creamery and Domino's. I got two caricatures done, in both I have the widest grin on may face because I was so excited about being there. this was my first really big school event that I had ever gone to and it was so totally worth it. I also learned how to play Blackjack while I was there. Our dealer was really nice and basically gave his chips out. He also made us laugh the whole time. The only thing our group didn't do last night was karaoke, but that wasn't that big a deal. I can't wait for our prom next year, I might actually go to the dance. ;)

And for a bit of randomness, here's my mythical creature!

...I'm the most generic mythological creature ever...T_T

Procrastination and a Little More

mood: working working
music: Comatose by Skillet

I love Fridays! The start of the weekend and the last day of the school week, what could be better. It does mean that I need to get moving on my Great Gatsby project, due on Tuesday by the way, and I haven't even started reading. I'm such a procrastinator... I seriously need time powers. I don't know why I do this to myself, I just can't get up the energy to do something when it's due. Then I'll whine and complain when I can't get it done in time. Bad TBPK! Bad! I also still have to finish up my second Mythological Miles too. It's nearing the end of the month and I said I would update monthly. ^_^'  So time for me to get to work and take this seriously!

Squee!

Just got the seventh book of Saiyuki Reload from Barnes and Noble. Gaah! I'll refrain from saying anything spoilerish for those of you out there who have yet to read it, but OMG! I can't believe it! I really like the new manga series much better than the original, but that might just be because it has Hazel. ;) I can just hear his broad southern accent every time I read. That fact that he's the mirror of Sanzo also helps. Only problem I have is with his whole genocide policy, but that's a major part of character so I just have to accept it. If Minekura kills him off, which he probably will, I'm be depressed for weeks.

All of the temporary Reload characters seem alot more fun than the temporary characters in the original Gensoumaden Saiyuki, like Zakuro "The Mighty Illusionist". One of the more incompetent bad guys, but such a lively guy. I'm halfway through a fic starring him called "Stars In Their Eyes". He's sort of hard to write though. ^_^'  Sometimes he's heroic, sometimes he's just as ass, like Homura.

Homura, Shien and Zenon are my three favorite anime only characters. Their lives were just as sucky as the Sanzo Party's, except they're gods, which tells you quite a lot about heaven. Looks like the Merciful Goddess is the only one who cares for the mortals on Earth. Or maybe she just cares about what becomes of Konzen, Tenpou, Kenren and Goku. She's hard to figure out that way.

Sanzo Ukoku has also made his way upon the "List Of People To Stay Away From At All Costs", he's right up there with Yami Malik, Sensui, Any Decepticon, and Ansem/Xemnas Heartless.

Anyway, I'll stop now, but not before I show you all the best thing I've seen all day, though you'll only get it if you've seen Beast Wars.

Sick...

Apr. 18th, 2007 | 07:14 pm

mood: sick sick
music: Kiss My Irish Ass by The Keltic Cowboys

Well, today started out nicely. I mean sure I had to get up extra early to fill out the information part of the ACT, but it wasn't that bad. I found the "what you like to do" questions quite amusing in fact. Lessons weren't that bad either, except for chemistry which was yet another round of "Guess the number! Come on guess! Use the scales and guess! But you know what that number isn't accurate anyway since nothing is truly known about science!" Yes, my chemistry teacher is insane. I cannot wait for finals just to be rid of him. Another good part of the day is that I found out that I get to be a LINK leader, which means I'll be introducing sophomores to the school. I'll get to meet the future Lambkins before everybody else. ^_^  AP I just sort of spaced out, don't know why, I was all bubbly before that and I perked up again in math...Maybe that class just sucks the life out of me. Anyway after school ended I went to creative writing club, which was once again a blast. There's something wrong with us, but that just makes our writing more fun. Then we went out to celebrate my little sister's birthday, and I just got this horrible sick feeling and now I'm lying in bed and REALLY don't feel good. It was before I even ate anything, so I can rule out food. It's just so hot and I have the fans on and everything...God I feel horrible.
